WHO WE ARE

From its beginnings in 1979 with the purchase of Johnson Motor Inn located in Oxford, MS to the formation of G2VG in 2016, G2 Venture Group is a rapidly growing commercial asset development and management company centrally located in Memphis, TN. G2VG is a privately held company which was founded with a single mission: to develop and manage assets with Integrity and Excellence. We partner with thriving, up and coming communities, and leading industry brands to develop and operate innovative concepts. The G2 in G2VG stands for “Grit and Grind” which was inspired by the Memphis Grizzlies. G2VG adopted the moniker and embodies it on a daily basis. With ongoing development, our portfolio continues to expand, creating success for our investors and helping to enrich the communities our assets inhabit.

Manher "mike" Patel

Chairman

Born and raised in India, Manher earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Luton College in England in 1973. Upon obtaining his degree, he accepted a position in Canada with the international renowned Massey Ferguson and quickly moved up to the role of Quality Control Engineer.

Manher has always had an entrepreneurial mindset and in 1979, he had his first opportunity to purchase a hospitality asset in America. He started his real estate journey with the purchase of Johnson Motor Inn in Oxford, MS and has since expanded his business into multiple hotel assets throughout the country in diverse market sectors. Manher has been a successful entrepreneur in the U.S. domestic hospitality market. In 1991, he branched out by starting Hospitality Builders of America Inc., a hospitality construction company. This company has proven to be a success, constructing over 25 assets throughout the Southeast during his tenure. In addition to the hotels developed by Manher, he has also managed all of these properties.

Today, Manher serves as Chairman of G2 Venture Group and is responsible for all oversight of the group’s business and strategies.

Sandip "sam" Patel

Sandip began his professional career as a Senior Associate for KPMG. After several years and a distinguished career, Sandip realized his passion was not in public accounting. It was in development of commercial real estate. In 2007, he joined as a partner in his father’s construction company, Hospitality Builders of America Inc., to fully understand development from the bottom up.

Today, Sandip oversees the construction of all assets and is heavily involved in the operation of all assets. He is the CEO and founding member of G2 Venture Group.

Sandip attended the University of Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant.

In his spare time, Sandip enjoys living a healthy lifestyle and traveling the world with his family. 

Dipesh Patel

President, Managing Principal

Dipesh attended the University of Tennessee where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management. During his time in Knoxville, TN, Dipesh worked for McKibbon Hospitality where he gained comprehensive knowledge in hospitality operations. Upon graduating in 2012, Dipesh joined his family business in Memphis, TN and focused on the operations for their hospitality assets.

Growing up in the hospitality industry, Dipesh knew he wanted to be a commercial real estate developer from a young age. His passion for real estate and commercial development led him to later attend the University of Memphis, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Real Estate Development to further his knowledge of commercial real estate.

Dipesh is the President and founding member of G2 Venture Group. Through meaningful mentorships and newly built relationships, he has brought a progressive vision of commercial growth to G2VG. Currently, Dipesh is responsible for operations of their assets as well as finding new opportunities for continued growth.

In his spare time, Dipesh enjoys hiking, basketball, fitness, and traveling.
